PROVENANCE OF SUBJECT

2018

DISLOCATED OBJECTS (AND THEIR LOCATIONS)

2017

Provenance of Subject is a sequel to Dislocated Objects and their locations, and comprises works in different artistic techniques with the intention to unite the medium entirely to the concept it embodies. It specifically concentrates on the process of making the artwork, rather than the final result. Common materials thus become the protagonists and exist to define themselves, appropriating random episodes in given circumstances.

Dislocated objects and their locations comprises various individual artworks exploring the context and individuality of objects, as well as relations existing amongst them through different mediums. It challenges the established ideas defining the differences between an object and a subject and questions their nature, shifting and swapping their positions.

The above described projects are are a part of a broader theoretic and visual research, published and exhibited as a final MA thesis presentation.
